US take on things

The US saw this as a threat to National Security and its economy due to the fact that Afghanistan Gulf had oil rigs and shipping ports.

Because the US, JimmyCarter, and Ronald Reagan were agents communism, they spent no expense at making sure that the communists didn’t take Afghanistan.

The UN came up with a diplomatic solution to this was. If the US told the mujaheddin to stop fighting, then the USSR would pull out.

Both sides didnt like this so the war raged on.

With the US support of the mujaheddin, the moral of the soldiers was boosted.

The arms the US supplied came from china, the US, Egypt, Czechoslovakia, and curpt USSR stations.

While fighting the Afghans took choppers from the soviets, however they always fought among them selves rendering the choppers useless

Regans policy

RR's policy helped to step up the Afghans military support. He saw America as the good guys and the communists as the bad guys, and would stop at nothing to prevent communism epically in a key country.
