The Directions for Use of this product reflect the opinion of experts based on field use and tests. The directions are believed to be reliable and should be followed carefully. However, it is impossible to eliminate all risks inherently associated with use of this product. Crop injury, ineffectiveness, or other unintended consequences may result because of such factors as weather conditions, presence of other materials, or the manner of use or application all of which are beyond the control of Ciba-Geigy or the Seller. General Information

HOW THE PRODUCT WORKS

This product controls populations of fleas, cockroaches, and the pests that get into stored food, by killing their eggs or preventing the immature stages of the insects from developing into adults.

This product will not kill adult insects that are already present. If adult insects are present, use an insecticide labeled to control the adult stage of the insect, and then use this product to stop the development of immature forms of the insect and to provide long-term control.

MIXING AND APPLICATION

This product is a concentrate and must be mixed with water before spraying. The section "How Much to Apply" tells you how much to use.

To apply this product, use a pump-up style pressure sprayer.

1. Make sure the sprayer is clean before mixing. 2. Fill the sprayer outdoors 3. Partially fill the sprayer with water 4. Refer to the "How Much to Apply" section of this label and pour

the required amount into the sprayer. Food utensils, such as measuring spoons, should not be used for food purposes after using the spoons to measure pesticides.

5. Mix only what you need and do not let the mixture stand in the sprayer overnight.

6. Finish filling the sprayer with the correct amount of water. 7. Close the sprayer and shake to mix. 8. Pump up the sprayer according to the sprayer directions. 9. Apply just enough product to wet the surface, do not drench the

area. 10. Clean sprayer after use; do not pour wash water into drains or

sewers.

How Much to Use

Mix 0.68 oz. (20 mI. or 4 teaspoons) in 1 gallon of water.

How Much to Use

Mix 0.34 oz. (10 ~l. or 2 teaspoons) in 1 gallon of water.

Empty the contents of 1 container into 1 gallon of water.

Flea Control Indoors

How to Apply

1. Before spraying, vacuum carpets, and throwaway vacuum cleaner bag in trash outdoors.

2. Remove pet bedding before applying this product and throw it away or wash it in hot water with detergent before returning it to the treated area.

3. Treat pets with a product registered for on-animal flea control. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT ON PETS.

4. Mix this product in 1 gallon of water. One gallon will treat approximately 1,500 sq. ft. of surface area.

5. Lightly spray areas where fleas may live including:

carpets furniture pet sleeping areas throw rugs under cushions of upholstered furniture into cracks or crevices of floors and baseboards

6. If needed, repeat application in 6 ~onths.

PANTRY PEST CONTROL

Pantry pests such as cigarette beetles and rice weevils are insects that get into stored food such as flo~r and cereals.

How Much to Use

Apply 0.68 oz. (20 mI. or 4 teaspoons) per gallon o~ water. Repeat, if needed, in 6-8 weeks. If a third application is needed, repeat in 3-4 months.

How to Apply

1. Remove all food containers and food items, shelf paper, uishes, and utensils before spraying.

2. Throwaway any food that is infested.

3. Spray into cracks and crevices and spot treat pantry shelves and cupboards where food is stored.

4. When spray has dried, put down new shelf paper and replace food dishes, and utensils.

Storage and Disposal

Store in an area inaccessible to children and pets and away from heat sources or open flame. Do not reuse container. Securely wrap container in several layers of newspaper and discard in trash.

To avoid hazard to fish and other aquatic organisms in rivers and streams, do not pour excess pesticide mixture or tank rinse water down the drain.

Concentrate causes substantial but temporary eye injury. Harmful if swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through the skin. Do not get in eyes or on clothing. Avoid contact with skin. Avoid breathing vapor or spray mist. Wear goggles, face shield or safety glasses when handling concentrate. Wash thoroughly wi th soap and water after hai1dling. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals.

General Information

HOW THE PRODUCT WORKS

This product controls populations of fleas, cockroaches, and the pests that get into stored food, by killing their eggs or . preventing the immature stages of the insects from developing into adults.

This product will not kill adult insects that are already present. If adult insects are present, use an insecticide labeled to control the adult stage of the insect, and then use this product to stop the development of immature forms of the insect and to provide long-term control.

MIXING AND APPLICATION

This product is a concentrate and must be mixed with water before spraying. The section "How Much to Apply" tells you how much to use.

To apply this product, use a pump-up style pressure sprayer.

1. Make sure the sprayer is clean before mixing. 2. Fill the sprayer outdoors 3. Partially fill the sprayer with water 4. Refer to the "How Much to Apply" section of this label and pour

the required amount into the sprayer. Food utensils, such as measu~ing spoons, should not be used for food purposes after using the spoons to measure pesticides. !

5. Mix only what you need and do not let the mixture stand in the sprayer overnight.

6. Finish filling the sprayer with the correct amount of water. 7. Close the sprayer and shake to mix. 8. Pump up the sprayer according to the sprayer directions. 9. Apply just enough product to wet the surface, do not drench the

area. 10. Clean sprayer after use; do not pour wash water into drains or

sewers.

1. Before spraying, vacuum carpets, and throwaway vacuum cleaner bag in trash outdoors.

2. Remove pet bedding before applying this product and throw it away or wash it in hot water with detergent before returning it to the treated area.

3. Treat pets with a product registered for on-animal flea control. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT ON PETS.

4. Mix this product in 1 gallon of water. One gallon will treat approximately 1,500 sq. ft. of surface area.

5. Lightly spray areas where fleas may live including:

1. Remove all food containers and food items, shelf paper, "dishes, and utensils before spraying.

2. Throwaway any food that is infested.

3. Spray into cracks and crevices and spot treat pantry shelves and cupboards where food is stored.

4. When spray has dried, put down new shelf paper and replace food dishes, and utensils.
