operational field such as Boat Crew or

Officer of Operations (OP) to help you
start becoming qualified.
RESPONSIVE:
To volunteer your boat, radio facility,
aircraft, or vehicle as an operational
facility you must first submit a 7003,
7004, 7005, or 7065 form found at

and should be replaced if needed.

Auxiliarists in disaster response it is
encouraged to not only complete the
basic ICS classes but also further
specialized classes as well. Check with you
FSO-MT for more information
RELEVANT:
The basic qualification course is made up
of 7 modules of instruction and testing. The
modules are required for all new members
and encouraged for all members as they
will strengthen your knowledge of the
AUXMAN.
RESPONSIVE:
There are many activities that Auxiliarists are
able to be trained to perform that directly
augment active duty and their Marine
Safety missions. Talk to you FSO-MS or Flotilla
Commander for more information.

A strong public education program can
help teach boaters to be safer and more
responsible when boating. This in turn
reduces violations of the boating laws and
preventable accidents and injuries.
RELEVANT:
To become qualified as an Instructor an
Auxiliarist must pass the online Instructor
Development Course and must teach at
least two classes while under the instruction
of a qualified Instructor.
RESPONSIVE:
Members involved in Public Education
should work closely with others who perform
Vessel Safety Checks and Program Visits to
both advertise their classes and find venues
to host the classes.
