On August 31st 2011, a Cardi Construction Corp. worker digging near a pipeline at the Capital Terminal facility, ruptured a high pressure pipeline with an excavator.
• AST provided personnel & equipment for:• Site Safety• Contractor Oversight• Implementing the ICS structure
• Results:• Clean up of over 56,000-gal of No. 2 Low

Lyndon Street Drum Site• November 14th – December 11th 2011• Location: Detroit, MI• Agency Supported: EPA Region V
• EPA discovered over 500 chemical drums, tanks, & compressed gas containers, many of which were not labeled, unsecure, and leaking in an old specialty chemical facility• Many of the chemicals were ignitable, corrosive, or toxic • AST provided:
