In 31.12.2011 there were 174 865 vechicles registered in Tallinn,including 99 403 private cars.

The narrowest part of Tallinn is less than 4 kms, all traffic moving from East to West and vice versa has to drive through that corridor

Compared to 2009 the container cargo volumes handled last year in the Port of Tallinn increased 16% and Ro-Ro cargo volumes 32%.

Tallinn has a diverse public transport system for its 400 000 inhabitants, this needs a lot of coordination
