The Bagis is a compact version of the full Urbanears experience. It’s an earplug construction for a direct sound and efficient noise reduction. It features rubber housing along with a combined fabric and TPE cord to eliminate distortions caused by friction. EARCLICK

Ears come in all shapes and sizes. And a lot of them simply don’t work with a standard earphone. The Earclick construction makes use of the bottom of the ear, much like the standard construction, and adds an upward hook securing the earpiece – exponentially increasing how well it sits in your ear. Additionally it allows you to hear your surrounding and doesn’t affect your balance by clos-ing the ear canal, making it perfect for using on the move. It may look freaky at a first glance, but once you try it you never go back.

EarClick is featured on the Medis.

At Urbanears we design and construct all our products to play sound at a satisfactory level with any music playing device utilizing a 3.5 mm standard socket. We also think it is natural to include a microphone and remote, as the majority of all portable music players are now a part of a telephone, thus we are adding the functionality of a headset.

At about 130 mm distance from the left hand earpiece you’ll always find a microphone and remote on an Urbanears headphone. The microphone is omnidirectional and receives frequencies from 15Hz to 16KHz and is constructed to capture voice at optimal capacity. The microphone is also equipped with a one-button remote for handling music and in-coming calls.

We have chosen to adjust our products to support the dominating standard for mobile two-way communication. However, not all suppliers have adapted to this standard and in fact developed their own version, deliberately closing out third party products such as ours. In many cases adapters are still available from these manufacturers.

WHY?

The concept Urbanears is spawned out of a number of ideas. Some that formed the project but just as many that came along the way. Primarily, there seemed to be no manufacturer of headphones out there that shared our belief in what headphones are and how they are used. Our passion is to make headphones with a profound understanding of how they are used, worn and why.

Our vision is to add a number of elements to the concept of performance. Beyond the obvious sound rendition we have a vision of making headphones that feel more like clothes than chromed plastics. We design headphones with respect to what they are expected to be, but with great attention to the details. An Urbanears headphone is always describable as a classic headphone, rather than a bold design statement redefining the product category.

We spend much time making our headphones afford-able. Still we want each product to always come with a little extra functionality you wouldn’t expect. And deliver great audio as well as ergonomics. Equally important, we work hard at making Urbanears available in a store near you.

The evolution of music formats has allowed you to carry your full collection in the pocket. Music has migrated from designated players into cell phones. It just seems stupid not to add a microphone and a remote, allowing you to pick up calls and communicate. We try to make your Urbanears function with the most possible devices out there, more about this on page 35.

Urbanears is a collective out of Scandinavia, moti-vated by a common interest in global relationships and shared involvement in the relevance of the living brand. Urbanears promotes a deeper connection to color, form and people while providing the freedom to transcend individuality and unify the sound experience.

Much more important than anything else, we make Urbanears for you. We know for a fact that you are carrying a few weeks worth of music in your pocket, or maybe audio books, language courses or simply a radio receiver. Statistically you are a city dweller going back and forth to work or school, sit at your desk, walking, rid-ing your bike, running, traveling or just vegetating – all to the sound of your carefully chosen soundtrack. However, just as likely you live in a remote forrest, it really doesn’t matter. We are convinced that you would consider the aesthetics of any type of hat before you bought it and that you feel the same way about a headphone.

We do not use large scale surveys or consumer inter-views but rather think that you are much like us. Sharing the same daily routines and needs. Urbanears is not intended for any specific sub culture, age group, sex, religion, race or nationality. Rather, we make headphones for anyone who is inclined to listen to music, no matter what kind.

HOW WE DO IT

An Urbanears product is typically conceived through a vision of how a headphone is used and why. It could come from within the office or from you. We thereafter work out a rough sketch of functionalities, price point and production possibilities. All design and development is done in-house, monitoring development to stick with our key concepts. All in all, developing a new head-phone takes the better part of a year, from the time the pencil meets the paper until you can plug in the final product. However we constantly work on details with the feedback we get, gradually fine-tuning each batch of Urbanears. Got an idea for an improvement or a product? Let us work on it together.

COLORS

We want to make a loud statement that Urbanears is something new and different, so we make our products in loads of colors and exchange them over the course of time. It really wasn’t long ago electronic products taking the bold step out of the gray scale were impossible to find. Color is a major part of Urbanears. We exchange them on a regular basis. Some colors stay with every collection others come and go. If you feel we’re missing a certain color drop us a line with a reference image or maybe even a Pantone number. We strive to have a complete line with any given retailer but many are unable to carry the full palette. Ask them to include your favorite in their next order or find it on urbanears.com.

THE NAME

First off, Urbanears is one word written with no blank spaces. Anyone telling you different is wrong. Naturally, it is a play of words and a mix of meanings. The urban environment and the ear which connects our products with the user, creating the image of a movement explor-ing the cities of the world.

PRODUCT NAMES

Our products are named after places and districts in our hometown Stockholm, Sweden. This is what the coordinates on the packaging refers to. Each spot has its own story and are all important building blocks of the town we come to love and hate.

THE HEART

The Urbanears heart logo is made up of the letter U in two units, turned around and overlapping each other forming a heart turned to its side. To us it is a variation of a classic shape, the heart, with a different story of construction and a multitude of meanings. Unlike most other brand logotypes the Urbanears heart logo does not come with a specific color but rather a number of layers filtering lights differently. We want you to make Urbanears what it is to you rather than proclaiming a correct solution and the logo is a part of this idea.

Every headphones we sell is designed to meet and even exceed your expectations. We are dedicated to providing excellent products that use today’s advanced technology. However, as most people realize, electronic products sometimes do have technical difficulties, and sometimes it is due to a manufacturing defect. This is why we offer a one (1) full year limited Premium replacement warranty, from purchase date, against manufacturer defects on each headphone we sell.

Zound Industries AB hereby warrants that, under normal use, this product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase. At the sole option of Zound Industries AB Authorized Dealers, it will replace the defective product. The limited Premium replace-ment warranty is valid only if the original proof of purchase issued to the purchaser, specifying the date of purchase, is presented with the product to be replaced.

How does it work? If you believe this product is defective within the limited warranty period, carefully repack the unit and return the product to your authorized dealer, with the original proof of purchase. At the sole option of your authorized dealer, it will replace the product in the case a defect in manufacture or workman-ship is identified. In Case your authorized dealer does not have the corresponding model or color in stock, Zound Industries AB will promptly provide a correspond-ing replacement item at his door to your attention.

This limited Premium replacement warranty does not apply in cases of abuse or misuse of the product, use contrary to Zound Industries AB instructions, ordinary wear and tear, incorrect connection, an act of God or unauthorized repair. Any lawsuit for breach of this limited warranty shall be commenced, if at all, within one (1) year of the date that the claim accrues.

Other than the limited warranty set forth above, Zound Industries AB expressly disclaims and excludes all warranties, express or implied, including, without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, relating to the use or performance of the product.

Zound Industries AB shall not be liable for special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use this product, regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based.

Some states do not permit limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights, which vary from state to state. This limited war-ranty does not restrict the rights of the consumer mandated under applicable laws.

This limited warranty supersedes all other warranties that are associated or included with this product.

This symbol indicates that this product shall not be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. This product was produced after Jan 1 2006.

The pads that accompany these headphones may deteriorate over time. Please make sure to use suitable pads on the headphones at all times.

ONE YEAR LIMITED PREMIUM REPLACEMENT WARRANTY English

Cada auricular que vendemos está diseñado para satisfacer e incluso superar sus expectativas. Nos dedicamos a proporcionar productos de primera clase que utilizan la tecnología más actual del momento. Sin embargo, como todos saben, los productos electrónicos pueden tener dificultades técnicas en ocasiones, y esto a veces se debe a defectos de fabricación. Por este motivo le ofrecemos con cada uno de los auriculares una Garantía de sustitución completa de un año (1), a contar desde la fecha de compra, para problemas causados por defectos de fabricación.

Zound Industries AB garantiza por medio del presente documento que, bajo condiciones de uso normales, este producto estará libre de defectos en material y mano de obra durante un periodo de un año (1) a contar a partir de la fecha de compra original. A criterio único de los Distribuidores Autorizados de Zound Indus-tries AB, la empresa le sustituirá el producto defectuoso. Zound Industries AB社（以下「当社」)は本保証規定により、製品を通常のご使用方法のもとでご利用いただいた場合に生じる故障に対しお買い上げ日より1年間保証し、万が一故障が生じた場合は当社指定の販売店にて製品の交換を承ります。この期間限定製品交換保証は、製品とともにお買い上げ店舗より発行された販売証明書、購入日のご提示がある場合のみ有効です。

保証期間内の製品に不具合の疑いが生じた場合、製品を丁寧に梱包しご購入証明書を添付の上、お買い上げの当社指定販売店までご返品ください。製造工程に起因する故障や構造上の欠陥が確認された場合は代替品と交換いたします。当社指定の販売店にて同一モデル／カラーの交換品の在庫がない場合は、当社が直ちに代替品をご用意いたします。

なお、上記期間内でも、不注意や誤った使用、付属の取扱い説明書の指示に反する使用、異常な使用、不適当な接続、天変地異、改造などによる故障や損傷は保証の対象とはなりません。万が一保証期間内に本契約内容に反するケースにおいて申し立てが発生した場合は適切な措置をとらせていただきます。

上記の保証条件を除き、当社は本製品の利用や性能に関連する市販性および特定目的への適合性の黙示の保証を含め、明示または黙示を問わず、またこれに限定されることなく、いかなる保証も明確に放棄します。

当社は、本製品の使用、または使用できないことから生じる特別、間接、偶発的、または必然的ないかなる損害に対しても、その根拠となる法理論の如何を問わず、責任を負わないものとします。

A garantia de substituição Premium limitada é válida apenas se o comprovativo de compra original emitido ao comprador, especificando a data de compra, for apresentado com o produto a substituir.

Como é que funciona? Se pensa que este produto tem defeito dentro do período da garantia limitada, volte a embalar cuidadosamente a unidade e devolva o produto ao seu revendedor autorizado, com o comprovativo de compra original. Apenas por exclusiva decisão do seu revendedor autorizado, o produto com defeito será substituído no caso de ser identificado um defeito de fabrico ou mão-de-obra. No caso de o seu revendedor autorizado não ter o modelo ou a cor correspond-ente em stock, a Zound Industries AB irá fornecer atempadamente um item de substituição correspondente em sua casa ao seu cuidado.

Esta garantia de substituição Premium limitada não se aplica a casos de abuso ou má utilização do produto, a uso contrário às instruções da Zound Industries AB, desgaste e destruição negligente, ligação incorrecta, força maior ou reparação não autorizada. Qualquer processo judicial por violação desta garantia limitada deverá ser instaurado, no máximo, no prazo de um (1) ano a partir da data em que a acção acresce.

La presente garanzia di sostituzione Premium limitata non vale in caso di uso improprio del prodotto, uso contrario alle istruzioni fornite da Zound Industries AB, usura ordinaria, connessione errata e cause di forza maggiore o riparazioni non autorizzate. Eventuali cause legali per la violazione della presente garanzia limitata dovranno essere avviate, se lo saranno, entro un (1) anno dalla data del reclamo.
