You are requested to submit sealed quotation in duplicate for Supply of 17 Skilled persons for operation for 90 days in Turamdih Mill

as per Blank Price Format (Annexure – PF).

Prequalification criteria (PQC):

A. Experience Criteria

1. Experience of having successfully completed similar works during last 07 (seven) years ending last day of

the month previous to the one in which applications are invited should be either of the following:

a) One similar completed works costing not less than Rs.9,80,290/- or

b) Two similar completed works costing not less than Rs. 6,12,681/- or

c) Three similar completed works costing not less than Rs. 4,90,145/-

B. Financial Criteria Average annual financial turnover during the last 03 (three) years, ending 31st March of the previous financial year

2019-20, should not be less than Rs. 3,67,608/-. For this audited balance sheet for the year 2017-18, 2018-19 &

2019-20 to be submitted.

C. Educational Qualification

Candidates having qualification of I.Sc. (12th with Science)/ITI and PREFERRED WITH basic knowledge of

Computer.

Scope of job:

Supply of 17 (Seventeen) manpower/day for regular equipments operation like Crushers, Conveyor belts,

Grinding Mill, Pumps, Lime Slaker, Belt and Drum filters, Vacuum Pumps, IX, etc, looking after and maintaining

the operational parameters or lab work, shift wise report writing in log sheets and logbooks is required on day

to day basis in Turamdih Mill

The job may involve supervision of washing and spillage lifting of slurry and dry ore from conveyors and filters, tank draining and descaling, pipes jam cleaning and descaling etc or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Any other miscellaneous job as and when directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Job shall be carried out in shifts or as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

The job to be carried out will be explained to the contractor or his supplied manpower at the beginning of the

contract & they will be responsible for carrying out the assigned quantity of work.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Basis of Evaluation

Offer submitted by the bidder shall be in single part. Evaluation of L1 (Lowest) bidder shall be done based on

their lowest quoted rate in totality after qualifying PQC. Bidder should quote their rate both in figures as well as

in words. In case of any discrepancy in figure and words, rate written in words will be considered as final.

2. Rate

Bidders shall quote rates(s) / price(s) as per price format, Annexure - PF enclosed along with Enquiry. The quoted

price shall be firm for this job.

3. Validity

The offer shall be valid for 30 days from the date of submission.

4. Payment

02 R.A. bill and 01 Final bill shall be paid.

Monthly payment to the workmen is to be done through bank transaction only.

EPF and Bank Challans are to be submitted along with RA bill on monthly basis.

5. Escalation Clause:

Escalation on Minimum wages, PF, ESIC, etc. shall be payable as per given formula: E = {R x (W1-W0) X 0.8}/ W0

Whereas, E = Escalation cost R = Total value of bill for the month W0 = Min. wage at the time of opening of tender W1 = Min. wage after revision for the month. 6. ESI: You have to arrange ESI coverage for manpower engaged for the work.

7. Gate Pass: Bidders have to arrange gate pass on their own for 22 (Twenty-two) persons at least so that full quota of

manpower (17 Nos.) could be supplied.

8. Penalty: Penalty will be imposed on pro-data basis for short supply of manpower than desired 12 (Twelve) manpower

on day-to-day supply as below:

i) Up to 15 manpower supplied – No penalty.

ii) Manpower supplied below 15 & up to 12Penalty of 15% of the offered cost per manpower.

iii) Manpower supplied below 12 & up to 8Penalty of 20% of the offered cost per manpower.

iv) Manpower supplied below 8Full cost per person shall be deducted.

9. Agreed Liquidated Damage

If successful bidder fails to execute the order within the agreed completion period, they shall be liable to pay as

agreed liquidated damages a sum @1/2% of the order value per week or part thereof of delay subject to a

maximum of 5%. In case of delay beyond 10 weeks. UCIL reserves the right to cancel the order and levy penalties.

10. Cancellation of Order

It will be your endeavour to execute the work order to our satisfaction. In case of your failure to do so, the order

is liable to be cancelled.

11. Force Majeure

In the event of strike / lockouts, closure of work (whole or partial) breakdown of machinery, act of god or any

other cause beyond our control, preventing or hindering the normal operation, we shall be at liberty to cancel

this order at any time before completion of work without being liable to the bidder or other claims.

12. Disputes

Both parties agree in, disputes arising out of this order may be settled by arbitration, in accordance with the

Indian Arbitration Act, 1940 & its subsequent amendment, by a sole arbitrator who shall be appointed by the

Chairman & Managing Director of this organization (UCIL).

13. Jurisdiction

Any action / dispute arisen out of or from this work order shall be subject to the jurisdiction of court of law at

Jamshedpur only, irrespective of anything to the contrary mentioned in the tender / quotation. Any statutory

obligation has to be made by the contractor. Tenderer will extend all help.

Offers shall be submitted at the office of the undersigned on or before 10/02/2020 in a sealed envelope.
