Luke 22:24-27(25) And He said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles

lord it over them; and those who have authority

over them are called ‘Benefactors.’

Page 5: Upside down greatness

Luke 22:24-27(26) But it is not this way with you, but the one who is the greatest among you

must become like the youngest, and the leader

like the servant.

Page 6: Upside down greatness

Luke 22:24-27(27) For who is greater, the

one who reclines at the table or the one who

serves? Is it not the one who reclines at the table? But I am among you

John 13:14-16

Humbling Ourselves Like Jesus

The World’s View:

Greatness is being

served.

Page 16: Upside down greatness

Matthew 23:11-12(11) But the greatest

among you shall be your servant.

(12) Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled,

and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.
