Welcome to all cadets—new and returning! We look forward to an exciting year filled with academics, athletics and activities! The Activities Office has a full slate of activities and events planned, both on and off campus. We encourage all cadets to balance their time at FUMA with hard work, community service, some play and rest. I encourage you to consider and participate in the many clubs and activities offered throughout the school year. We have a Social Center on campus located in Vaughn Hall for upper school cadets. During operational hours, there are Xbox video games, arcade games, pool, ping-pong, air hockey, fooz ball, board games, and cards. Drinks, snacks and candy are available for purchase. Cadets with 60 demerits or less can enjoy the Social Center. The following page of this newsletter outlines the many clubs and community service opportunities that are available to our cadets. Once a month, cadets will receive an Activities Newsletter by email, highlighting upcoming events along with photos and write- ups on happenings from the previous month. Please share this newsletter with your family. Cadets will also receive email notifications of upcoming events— so check your cadet email often.
