It’s been quite a winter, hasn’t it? Between the

holiday Ice Storm, the never-ending Polar Vortex,

the frost quakes and countless blizzards, I can

hardly wait to pack away my boots, chunky

sweaters, parkas and mittens – which says a lot,

since I genuinely LOVE fall and winter fashion!

However, as we finally spring forward, I’m dreaming of florals, soft

pinks and nudes, nautical stripes, beautiful skirts, open-toed shoes... all the popular trends for the coming

months. Spring signifies new beginnings, and in this issue of Gorgeous we’re updating how we share

seasonal trends with our readers. Our goal is not to suggest a wardrobe overhaul, but simply to offer tips

and tricks to easily freshen up your closet for spring. Our team has taken great care in curating a collection

of looks, merchandise, beauty tips and articles to help you ease into a new season. Whether you’re in

your 20s and starting a new job, or in your 60s and want to look age-appropriately chic, this issue will help

and what you’re all about.

M: M for Mendocino opened its f irst boutique on

Queen Street West in 2009 as a source for Toronto

women looking for accessible style. As the sister
