Upon completion of this session you will be able to:
• Identify different Event types and Impacts
• Describe the basic Event workflow process
• Access, create and edit Events
• Add additional information to Events including:
– Impacts
– Evidence
• Complete an Action
• Access the live Enablon system
• Access the training system
• Locate Resources within the Evergreen Project site
• Explain how to raise a Service Ticket for Enablon issues

• From Internet Explorer
browser, click on Favorites
> Simplot Links > Enablon
• Enablon utilizes Single Sign
On (SSO)
• From the Source, click the
Apps building blocks icon
• Click the settings Icon
• Locate the Enablon tile and
click to add to your ‘My Apps’
• Click Done when the Enablon
tile is listed under ‘My Apps’

• Further information about the Evergreen Project, including access to Enablon can be
found on http://evergreen.simplot.com/
• Resources contain training guides and videos
• From the SimCentral homepage, locate the Global Support icon on the right, and
click to open the portal
• Click on Software Support > Application Support > select Enablon from the drop down
menu > describe the issue, answer the questions, click Submit

▪ Log in with your user ID (Simplot email) and password: Simplot!23
• Click on the circle icon, your ‘Personal Space’, to access customisable preferences
including time zone/date style preferences
• This is also where you log off from the current Enablon session in training or a shared
computer. You don’t need to sign out of your own computer.
• The first display you see is the Home Dashboard
• Enablon applications appear in the main menu on the left and icons in the middle of
the screen
• Use the pin icon in the top left to pin the menu bar and keep it expanded and visible
all the time, or click it again to collapse and hide it
• Click the Simplot logo to return to the Home Dashboard from any screen
• The List view is a list of all records the user has access to
• Click the Process button to see where the event is sitting
• If you want to see the detailed summary, check the box

3 - Event Form opens ready to
complete
• Enter data into the form
• You can send an Alert to another person by checking the appropriate box
• Click the Save button
• After saving the Event, add impacts from the next screen, either at the top or bottom
of the page
OR
▪ If adding an Impact or Evidence after an Event has been saved, this is done by
opening and editing the Event from the Event list
NOTE: A Hazard Event will not require an Impact to be added
• Impact form questions can vary depending on the nature of the impact
• Enter the information and click Save (single impact) or Save & New (multiple impacts)
• Evidence form questions can vary depending on the nature of the impact
• Enter the information and click Save (single evidence) or Save & New (multiple
evidence pieces)

2 – Click the Events button in the
Navigate to.. box
3 – Locate the Event in the list
and click the eye icon to view
• When all the data plus Impacts and Evidence if appropriate, has been entered into
the form, click the Submit button in the edit screen to move this Event along in the
workflow.
NOTE: you are unable to add additional information to an Event after it has been
submitted.
▪ Or, from the Event View screen, click the More button at the bottom of the form,
the click Submit
▪ Click the Action Plans button on the home page to open the
Action Plans dashboard
▪ View Open Action Plans that are assigned to you
▪ Locate your Action Plan from the list available and click on the
magnifying glass icon to open and edit the action plan
• Enter the date that this is being Completed (use the Today button to autofill today’s
date)
• Click the Mark as Complete button
