Its aim is to provide opportunies and economic advancement to qualifying black South Africans, enterprises and communies. Thereby enabling them to become self-reliant and substanate as well as to link enterprises to markets and to being suppliers in the divisions within Servest. Thereby creang meaningful social change in areas of society where the Trust will operate.

The Lesipho Trust Fund

Lesipho is Servest Trust Fund which is a non profit organisation established in 2014 to manage and channel enterprise development, enterprise supplier development and socio-economic development funds from each division of Servest.Its aim is to provide opportunities and economic advancement to qualifying black South Africans, enterprises and communities. Thereby enabling them to become self-reliant and substantiate as well as to link enterprises to markets and to being suppliers in the divisions within Servest.

Thereby creating meaningful social change in areas of society where the Trust will operate.

Enterprise Supplier Development Sapphire Blue

This business was established in 2009 and currently operates as a Level 1 contributor towards B-BBEE and is 100% black female owned specialising in National Distribution. The business is a one stop complete office solution which consists of stationery/cartridges/groceries/cleaning material/printing/ promotional items/office renovations/office furniture etc.

Satch More Trading (Pty) LtdSatch More Trading [PTY] Ltd is an electrical installation and maintenance company established in 2013 by Sunnyboy Schosana. Its primary business is within the construction industry, however it also offers services within private properties, offices and municipal buildings. It is a 100% black owned EME.Servest is committed to providing Satch More Trading (Pty) Ltd with a grant to invest and has signed a three year contract to register as a preferred supplier to Servest.

Amugelang Garden ServicesThe business has been operating since 2005 and was established by Teboho Lentsa, formally registered in 2007. It offers a full range of landscaping and maintenance services that ensures corporate, residential and sports facilities are spotlessly maintained and attractive all year round as well as turf construction and management. Landscaping services are custom designed and the business caters for large and small projects. Amugelang is a 100% Black Owned EME with a Level 3 contribution status. Servest is committed to

providing Amugelang with a grant to invest and has signed a three year contract to register Amugelang as a preferred supplier to Servest.

Khomanani LandscapingThe business has been operating prior to 2005 and was established by George Ndlovu. The offices are based in Pretoria and the business offers landscaping and garden maintenance, tree pruning, brick edging and weed killing. The company is a BEE Level 3 contributor with 100% black ownership and is classified as an EME.Servest is assisting in training employees on a Horticulture Learnership Level 2 over 12 months for gardeners.Servest has signed a three year contract to register Khomanani Landscaping as a preferred supplier to Servest.

Bambanani Food and Herb CooperativeThis is an agricultural cooperative in the inner City of Johannesburg and is legally registered with the Registrar of Cooperatives at CIPC. Bambanani is a black owned EME with a Level 1 contribution status.Bambanani successfully provides produce fruit, herbs and vegetables for the surrounding local communities and with Servest’s support will be able to employ and dedicate a team to servicing the Servest Catering division.

Enterprise DevelopmentUmfundisi Cooperate Mobile Car Wash, Trading as Image AutoThis business was registered in 2012 as an

SMME, B-BBEE level 1 contributor black owned business. Servest currently assists with a grant on a monthly basis towards an ED initiative programme. The grant has assisted Umfundisi with legal compliance with the Department of Labour, payments of salaries to staff and purchasing of a vehicle and equipment. This business will graduate into a preferred Supplier to Servest, partnering to providing a corperate car wash to Servest’s fleet and employee’s vehicles.

Mpilwenhle Wellness Mobile ClinicThis business was established in 2016 as a B-BBEE level 1 contributor 100% black women owned. The purpose is to ensure clear balance in health and wellness by bringing quality health care to the workforce and providing them with the best resources there is to improve their health. Lesipho Trust has assisted Mpilwenhle with legal compliance and a grant that pays staff salaries, operating costs as well as purchasing a vehicle and trailer, fully equipped to operate a mobile clinic. This business will graduate into a preferred supplier to Servest, partnering to provide health care and wellness to Servest employees.

Socio Economic DevelopmentJohannesburg Council for the Disabled - JOCODNPO that implements and maintains a holistic programme for people living with disabilities, so as to empower them and thereby improving their quality of life by training and upskilling them to become employable. The Lesipho Trust’s grant pays the teacher’s salary and place people with disabilities on Servest

Learnerships, thereby creating employment for them.

BursariesLesipho Trust will be funding bursaries to children who are previously disadvantaged, for studies at a registered educational institution for full academic tuition fees, books, study material and examination fees for the 2017 academic year.

Joint AID Management (JAM)JAM is a South African-founded non-governmental organisation programmes in Early Childhood Development (ECO) according to four pillars: Nutrition, ECO centre infrastructure makeovers; ECO practitioner training; and community involvement. In addition, JAM SA undertakes agricultural training of community farmers and the establishment of vegetable gardens.Servest has supported JAM South Africa for the past seven years both financially and through providing services and goods.

Middleburg Care VillageThe Middleburg Care Village has been operating since 2004 and is a registered child and youth care centre.Presently, the Village provides for 106 children - the majority of whom are orphaned or have been removed from their families due to abuse and poverty. The children range from three years to eighteen years old.This is a multi-racial and multi-gender home. Middleburg Care Village has 98% black beneficiaries.

Netcare Rehabilitation HospitalThe Netcare Rehabilitation Hospital is a specialised healthcare facility which offers a comprehensive rehabilitation service to individuals with physical disabilities. The hospital is part of the Netcare Group in South Africa and is situated in Auckland Park. The rehabilitation programme offered seeks to enhance the residual functional abilities of persons who have acquired a disabling impairment due to trauma, acute illness, a chronic health condition, or any other medical episode that has limited their ability to function independently.Servest is a key sponsor in the hospital’s annual sports day which showcases and encourages a healthy lifestyle for people with disabilities. This event commenced in 2000 and empowers care givers, people with disabilities and their families. The activities are fun and competitive regardless of the level of the individual’s disability.

The South African National Council for the Blind (SANCB)This NPO has been operating since 1929 providing services to visually impaired persons across South Africa.SANCB is closely aligned with the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness and partners with the World Health Organisation, the World Blind Union and the African Union of the Blind.

The Council provides for the following:

• Enterprise Shop which imports, sources and sells assistive devices to visually impaired individuals and organisations

• Strategic management, enabling and support division which is involved in project management

• Bureau for the Prevention of Blindness - an eye care programme to assist individuals in rural areas and provide urgent eye care including spectacles to a child after an eye test

• Education, social inclusion and development which currently supports 21 schools for the visually impaired through conducting workshops for educators and consulting services on the assistive devices

• SANCB provides vocational training for visually impaired individuals at the Optima College which is a registered NPO and FET College

• Servest currently supplies washroom equipment to SANCB each month
