Tiffany Robinson 502-548-1343 I have designed an evidence-based curriculum for children and youth K-12. It strengthens literacy, comprehension, and gives students an understanding of “authorpreneurship.” My purpose is to ensure students experience a thought- provoking, enriching, and informative program tailored for all grade levels and academic enrichment interests. Students learn the process of writing, editing, illustrating and publishing a book. I encourage them to write and understand that they can become a published author at any age. Reading & Exploring Comprehension Younger students participate in an exercise which includes: Readings from my books, explore reading comprehension, making inferences and predictions about the stories. Curricula include conversations to build confidence and understanding of family and community. We interpret the text and relate to the themes and character experiences. Literacy & Art Exploration My literacy and art exploration program include two visits with students who each receive a book and choose a theme or element from the story to express through creative media. "Studies have shown that arts teaching and learning can increase student's cognitive and social development. The arts can be a critical link for students in developing the crucial thinking skills and motivations they need to achieve at higher levels." (Deasy, & Stevenson, 2002). I have designed an evidence-based curriculum for children and youth K-12. It strengthens literacy, comprehension, and gives students an understanding of “authorpreneurship.”

My purpose is to ensure students experience a thought-provoking, enriching, and informative program tailored for all grade levels and academic enrichment interests. Students learn the process of writing, editing, illustrating and publishing a book. I encourage them to write and understand that they can become a published author at any age.

Reading & Exploring Comprehension

Younger students participate in an exercise which includes: Readings from my books, explore reading comprehension, making inferences and predictions about the stories. Curricula include conversations to build confidence and understanding of family and community. We interpret the text and relate to the themes and character experiences.

Literacy & Art Exploration

My literacy and art exploration program include two visits with students who each receive a book and choose a theme or element from the story to express through creative media.

"Studies have shown that arts teaching and learning can increase student's cognitive and social development. The arts can be a critical link for students in developing the crucial thinking skills and motivations they need to achieve at higher levels." (Deasy, & Stevenson, 2002).
