New BACnet MS/TP and Wireless TEC Series Thermostat Controllers Offer Additional Parameters We are pleased to announce the TEC26xx-4 and TEC26xx-4+PIR BACnet® Master-Slave/Token-Passing (MS/TP) Series and TEC20xx-4 and TEC20xx-4+PIR Wireless Series Thermostat Controllers! Our TEC thermostat controller offering has been updated to provide additional parameters as a direct response to requests from you and your customers. In addition to a number of new parameters, these thermostat controllers are now available with optional Passive Infrared (PIR) onboard occupancy sensing capability.

Key Selling Features New network thermostat controller features include: • Optional onboard occupancy sensor that provides energy savings without additional

installation time/cost • Password protection option • Single setpoint adjustment option • Universal language symbols on the thermostat controller cover • Menu scrolling option • Additional network objects

These enhancements have been incorporated due to the increased demand to add optional functionality, which better meets demands for specific applications. The TEC Series Thermostat Controller product family includes models that control: • single-stage heating and cooling • multi-stage heating and cooling • heat pump units • unitary rooftop unit equipment with economizers • cabinet unit heaters • fan coil units • perimeter heating and cooling

Additional Features In these tough economic times, it is essential to conserve energy and reduce associated costs, all while ensuring occupancy comfort. The integral PIR occupancy sensing feature of our BACnet MS/TP and Wireless TEC Thermostat Controllers does just that! For one additional feature, we have incorporated more point mapping objects to allow more network interfacing. Table 1 lists accessible point mapping objects.

while conserving energy • enhanced occupancy sensing in conjunction with door switch toggle (TEC2xx6H-4+PIR

Series models)—adds more efficiency by associating a door switch into the sequence of operation

Table 5 lists the accessory Occupancy Covers compatible with all of the newer TEC versions. We are happy to inform you that the list pricing for the new offering remains the same as the models being replaced! Note: U.S. list prices are effective December 11, 2009, and are subject to change. Canadian list prices are effective January 1, 2010.
