MAIN OBJECTIVE

The main objective of the Task Force is to overview the data collection and reporting

processes and the data model and IT infrastructure used, from a strategic perspective,

and to formulate recommendations at a strategic level.

EU INTEROPERABILITY FRAMEWORK

The framework gives specific guidance on how to set up interoperable digital public services.

It offers public administrations 47 concrete recommendations on

how to improve governance of their interoperability activities,

establish cross-organisational relationships,

streamline processes supporting end-to-end digital services,

and ensure that both existing and new legislation do not compromise interoperability efforts.

The recommendations from the European Interoperability Framework (EIF) report produced as part of the European Commission’s Interoperability Solutions Administrations (ISA2) programme had been outlined and summarised

The recommendations from the EIF had been grouped the by their relevance to the work of the Task Force

The EIF recommendations that are considered relevant to the work of the group had been aligned to the applicable recommendation(s) from the AF-TF interim report

For computa�onal science: use available data → iden�fy emerging pa�erns → iden�fy new data needs → re-iterate

Data analysis methodologies influence our thinking on data

Needs capacity building → link to DG on CB

Constant re-thinking our approach to data is needed as data science and food science converges
