Bus Plan U pdates• Metro has responded to comments received on the draft Next
Gen Bus Plan:• Retain Line 460 service between Norwalk Station and downtown Los
Angeles with weekday and weekend frequency 30 min peak/middayand 30-60 evening
• Retain service on Santa Ana St in Huntington Park via Line 611segment between A Line (Blue) Florence Station to Atlantic/Ceciliawith hourly weekday and weekend service
• Line 202: Revised weekday frequency to hourly peak with new middayhourly service (rather than just peak periods weekdays)
• Retain existing Line 62 segment south of Los Cerritos Mall as a part ofproposed New Line 262

Bus Plan Balance• To implement added coverage and service improvements while
staying on budget, the following tradeoffs are being proposed:
• Line 102: Revised weekday/weekend from 30 to 40 min frequency
• Line 125: Proposed Owl would be removed from consideration
• Line 127: Revised frequency between Compton Station to Downey to60 min evenings and weekends
• Line 261: Revised weekday daytime frequency from 15 to 20 min
• Line 265: Revised weekday daytime frequency from 30 to 40 min

CO V ID-19 Im pacts on NextGen Bus Plan• Our CEO & Board remain committed to implementing NextGen• Enhanced Sunday service (since 4/19) with additional bus trips/wider
articulated bus deployment for returning workers (added 6/21):• Ridership dropped over 70% (Rail) and 60% (Bus) by early April but is climbing back
towards 50% of normal levels• Operator availability also declined but is also improving• Trips added/articulated buses more widely deployed for social distancing
• Network structure should be implemented as planned under NextGen(subject to public hearing and approval process)
• As ridership returns, service frequencies will be improved towards thoseplanned under NextGen, consistent with staffing & funding availability
• Multiple service changes expected through FY21 as system recovers:• Next one planned for mid-August 2020 to accommodate returning students
