Week in reviewWhy would a scarecrow want to swap his hat? We found out why in the story The Scarecrow’s Hat. We sequenced the story and took a comprehension test too. With the help of volunteers, we made our own scarecrow’s hat for our fall plays! We read The Little Old Lady Who was Not Afraid of Anything and acted out the parts. We watched Dr. Suess’ What Was I Afraid Of? and wrote about a time we have been afraid. In Math, we have been practicing writing and solving subtraction sentences. We have been busy differentiating between ch, th, sh, and wh.
