IMPORTANT INFORMATION Bell Schedule: Today we are on a 6-period schedule #2. Please see the schedule at the bottom of the bulletin. Rooter Bus & Entry Ticket to Football State Quarterfinals vs. Graham- Kapowsin Art Crate Field, Spanaway, WA-- Saturday, November 18 – Bus Leaves at 3:45 p.m. $10.00 Tickets are on sale first come, first serve at the Cashier's Office and Main Office and online through TouchBase for a seat on the rooter bus that includes an entry ticket to the Football State Quarterfinals game versus Graham-Kapowsin at Art Crate Field in Spanaway this Saturday the 18th. The cost is $10.00 total for a seat on the bus combined with an entry ticket to the game. Payment must be made in advance and will not be accepted when boarding the bus on Saturday. Students must present their actual ASB/ID card at the stadium entry. Students should bring a sack dinner and/or additional funds to purchase food at the stadium. Food cannot be consumed on the bus. Students will need to bring a signed Field Trip Permission form along with their $10.00 paid receipt when boarding the bus. Students will be provided with the form when they purchase a rooter bus/entry ticket. The bus will board at the WHS bus zone at 3:45 p.m. sharp to make it in time for the 5:30 p.m. kick off. Thanks for supporting our football student-athletes! GO Falcons! Falcons: For the safety and security of the building, the staff parking lot door is locked during the school day. For students who park there, to access the building you must walk around to the front and come in through the Main Office Foyer. Please plan accordingly and be considerate of the learning environment by not banging or knocking on the staff lot doors to be let in, as classes are in session. Senior Ad Sales- Now thru December 7, 2017 Senior Ads are now on sale. Parents will be able to design and purchase ads online with our yearbook publisher, Balfour. The sales window is open until Thursday, December 7th. The online ad builder website is on central time so the ad must be completed and paid for by 10 pm PST on December 7th. Please see the yearbook page for pricing, details and instructions. Open Mic Night 11/17: The WHS Performing Arts Department is hosting an Open Mic Night on Friday evening, November 17th, 2017 at 7:00 PM in the WHS Theater. All acts are welcome, whether it be a vocalist, instrumentalist, dramatic monologue, stand-up comedy, all can join! Bring your friends and show off your talents! OLD INFORMATION Winter Season Parking Announcement: Requests for a WINTER Parking Pass are now being accepted. All students wishing to park in the WHS lots must have a parking application on file and current hanger visible in their car. Juniors, if you paid for a full year hanger because you are in a yearlong activity, please bring in your fall hanger to exchange for a WINTER hanger. Seniors and students currently in Running Start or WaNIC programs do not need to switch hangers. Winter Sports: The winter sports season has begun! Winter sports include men's and women's basketball, gymnastics, men's swim/dive and wrestling. Online registration is still open for men's swim/dive and wrestling only. Please click REGISTER FOR SPORTS and follow the instructions to register through FamilyID which is a secure registration platform. Both parent AND student electronic signatures are required. Sports physicals are good for two years and must be good through the post season dates set by the WIAA for that sport. Please contact Renae Hector in the Athletic Department if you have any questions or need to check an expiration. Women in Engineering – November 16th Lockheed Martin Hosts an Event for those who are interested in Engineering. Please see Mrs. Krochmalny in the Career Center for applications. Spaces are limited to 7.

Student Celebrations Mens Tennis KingCO All-League Honors! Congratulations to Eric Yang for being voted by the 4A KingCo Tennis Coaches as one of the top five singles players and a position on the KingCo 4A Tennis Singles All-League 2nd Team! Honors also go out to Mens Head Tennis Coach Jay McGinness for being name Co-Coach of the Year! Football KingCo All-League Honors! Congratulations and special recognition goes out to Jake Ballie for being named KingCo Most Valuable Defensive Player of the Year, to Head Coach Wayne Maxwell for being named KingCo Coach of the Year, and to Assistant Coach Mike Pluschke for being named KingCo Assistant Coach of the Year!
