Don’t Miss These Events! So you want to learn to fly? - Seminar

Have you or has someone you know always wanted to learn to fly?

What makes you look skyward? Is it the whoosh of a jet, or the mesmerizing drone of a small airplane overhead? The sound of an aircraft in flight is the sound of freedom-the freedom to go where you want, when you want. When you look skyward, you are intrigued about those flying above you, viewing the world with their unique perspective.

If you’re one of the many individuals that have always dreamt of learning to fly, no matter if your goal is to fly just for fun, to make visiting friends or family a faster and easier experience, to get away from business trips on crowded airlines, or even to begin a career as a professional pilot, Aspen Flying Club has all the tools you need to get airborne.

Attend our informational seminar and learn all about what it takes to become a pilot! This course will address all the questions you’ve always wanted to ask like “How long does it take?,” “How much does it cost?”, and much much more!

A Word from the Tower

Recently we have had several pilots who, upon hearing their callsign, started moving forward in anticipation of a clearance they are expecting to hear.

There are times when the controller is only contacting you to update an initial altitude or ask a question and by moving forward, you could find yourself on an active runway, inadvertently putting yourself and others in danger.

So as always, everyone be especially careful.

As always, fly safely! We look forward to seeing you at

the club!
