Details

MoDOT plans to improve the intersection of Route 63 and Route 19/Business Route 63 in Thayer, Missouri. The project will include

modifying the existing right turn lanes, constructing islands and adding stop bars to the

Route 19 and Business Route 63 approaches.

traffic impacts

Motorists should anticipate minor impacts to traffic as construction is underway, such as a reduced speed through the work zone. However, there will be times when traffic is reduced to a two-way, one-lane operation

using flagger control.

timeline

Construction is expected to begin in spring 2022, with completion anticipated in fall 2022.
