    Our winter CSA (community supported agriculture) is 22 weeks, from the beginningof November until the end of April. Each week there will be a minimum target of

    3 pounds of organic produce. Much of each share will be made up of our very pop-ular spinach, arugula, winter salad mix (that includes a wide variety of lettucesand baby greens), and there is generally a large helping of bigger cooking greensincluding kales, collards, leaf broccoli or broccoli raabs, chards, and other asiangreens. Also, each week there will be a few additional items in each share rangingfrom sweet hakurei turnips, sweet carrots, baby bok choy, cabbages, onions, po-tatoes, radishes, sweet potatoes, or winter squash. CSA pickup is from 4:30-6:30

    pm on Tuesdays evenings.CSZ Member Rates for Fresh Produce: The total cost of one full share for CSZmembers is $700 for 22 pickup dates, $32 per pickup. $350 for a half share with 11pickup dates on alternating weeks.

    Community Rates (CSZ Non-Members):The total cost of one full share for CSZ non-members is $736 for 22 pickup dates, just a little over $33 per pickup. $368 for a half

    share or 11 pickup dates on alternating weeks.

    B'nai David Cemetery CleanupSunday, November 9, 2014 - 9:30 a.m.

    Support CSZ member David Goldman's clean-up efforts at one of the area's

    oldest Jewish cemeteries. NextGen Detroit is partnering with Jewish Family

    Service and Repair the World to clean up historic B'nai David Cemetery in Detroit

    during JFS's annual Fall Fix Up. Volunteers should meet at the cemetery for a

    Donate to Heart 2 Hart DetroitFill the bin in the Synagogue lobby!

    This charitable group provides and distributes food, clothing, toiletries and

    helpful information to men and women living on the streets or in shelters in the

    Detroit Metropolitan area. Donations of travel size personal items are in demand,

    so bring your extras to the Synagogue. The bin is located in the Synagogue lobby.

    Share a Ride to ShulThere are congregants in need of rides to and from Shabbat services. Areas

    include Birmingham, Oak Park and West Bloomfield.

    Give us Your IdeasHelp us create positive programs for our Synagogue's future and spark
