Monologue

THIS IS NOT FOR A CLASS OR ANYTHING

ELSE!!!

Love interest - Look, there is always that time when things go bad

for us, but regardless we, no... you will overcome it. And don't say

anything because I know what you're gonna say. But hear me out

first.

[Protagonist pauses and looks at Love interest]

I don't want to hurt you, nor do I plan onto but...let me be...the one

to take in your sadness, your sorrow, your tears, your anger, your

hatred, your pain, your agony, and your fear. Let me be the reason

for you to smile, to be happy, to know true joy, to live, to be brave,,

and to love. I will be there for you...I will never hate you. I will still

accept you even if the whole world rejects you! I won't make you

cry tears of sorrow, I will be there to pick you up, and I'll never

leave your side. I could only do this if you let me...become your

HOPE.

Protagonist - W-why?

Why go so far for me?

Love interest -

Because...I LOVE you.
