A former Midwest City-Del City Schools teacher was arrested after police say he sent sexual messages to a 13-

year-old girl on social media.

A former Midwest City-Del City Schools teacher was arrested after police say he sent sexual messages to a 13-year-old girl on social

media.

Capt. Jody Suit, a spokesman for the Del City Police Department, said Christian Ridner, 39, turned himself in to police after a warrant

was issued for his arrest. Ridner was arrested on a complaint of soliciting sexual communication with a minor by use of technology.

Suit said the investigation began two weeks ago. Ridner has since resigned from the school

district, he said.
