Career Services at the College of Business Administration (CBA) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln celebrated another successful year in 2015-2016 working effectively with students, employers, alumni, and university partners. Through our innovative programs and services, we are surpassing our goal to develop confident, professional, and connected business students. In particular, our Professional Enhancement Program (PrEP) is leading the way nationally for ground-breaking career development curriculum and increasing the job search readiness of our students.
We are proud to highlight a few of our successes over the past year in the following report, including an office reorganization that aligns staff responsibilities to our core programs and provides career advancement opportunities. The Career Services at CBA team looks forward to another successful year in 2016-2017 as we continue to strive to become a national leader in preparing students for lifelong career success.

Testimonials
The students that I had the pleasure of meeting came well-prepared, well-dressed and excited to have the opportunity to do a mock interview. Part of my personal and professional goal is to guide soon-to-be college graduates towards a dream job in an ideal company. Being able to see the drive and professionalism they are learning in the BSAD 333 come to life, makes those goals of mine a lot more attainable.
-Amanda McQuillan, Director of Recruiting, Renaissance Financial
Thank you so much for providing this kind of class for students. It is really helpful for me since I don’t have any one to teach me about this thing at home, and don’t really know where to get this helpful information outside the class.
-BSAD 222 Student
I really did enjoy the course. I didn’t find it to be a waste of my time at all. Every week I learned something that pertained to my future in the business world, and they were all things that I believe will help me in the future.
-BSAD 444 Student
I really like the class. At the beginning, I found that this class had so many things to do but then I realized that the homework was really helpful for us. I really appreciated what the instructors have done and helped us. I saw their enthusiasm when they wanted to help us to be successful in what we have chosen and direct us to a right way. I also appreciated the tips they taught us to do well in the interview or how to prepare well for an interview. I want to say a big “thank you” to everyone at the Career Service. Thank you so much!
