SEALED TENDERS ARE INVITED FROM REPUTED AND EXPERIENCED CONTRACTORS FULFILLING THE TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR PROVIDING LIGHT WITH UNINTERRURTED
POWER SUPPLY AND SOUND SYSTEM ETC FOR CONVOCATION 2016 AS PER
DETAILS MENTIONED BELOW:

The terms and conditions, along with the formats of technical and financial bid
respectively ( tender document set) can be downloaded from www.lkouniv.ac.in
displayed as Annexure A-1, A-2 and A-3 respectively along with this notice.
The tender bids (separate technical and financial bids, double sealed in one
envelope) addressed to the REGISTRAR , UNIVERSITY of LUCKNOW are
required to be placed in in the tender box at Registrar‟s Office, University of
Lucknow -226007 by the last date of December 26 ( 2 pm). The bids shall be
opened at 3 pm in the office of the Pro-Vice Chancellor on the same day.

CONDITIONS FOR: LIGHT WITH UNINTERRURTED POWER SUPPLY AND
SOUND SYSTEM ETC
1. The rates quoted should be net of exclusive of all taxes.
2. No payment „shall be paid for the cartage. (Rate should be F.O.R. Site).
3. “The work should be completed within the stipulated time given from the date of order as
mentioned in work order.
4. The party shall be responsible for security of all its items.
5. Quantities are liable to vary.
6. Payment shall be made on the basis of actual AND SATISFACTORY work executed. No
payment shall be paid for the cartage (Rate should be FOR site).
7. The work should be completed within the stipulated time given from the date of order as
mentioned in the work order.
8. The party shall be responsible for security of all its items.
9. An earnest money of Rs. 50,000/- in the form of Bank Draft issued by a Nationalized. Bank in
favour of “Finance officer, University of Lucknow” Payable at Lucknow should accompany the
tender form which shall be refunded to those whose tenders are not accepted.
10. EMD will be converted into security money for the tenderer whose bid is accepted.
11. Only those tenders shall be accepted which give the offer for entire work (tenders for part work
will not be accepted)
12. The tenderer shall be required to keep sufficient work force including atleast four
electricians/wireman who shall be kept on duty to attend and check the lines for rectification. All
wiring points shall be completely insulated.
13. All security measures/back up to avoid chances of disruption in power supply shall be made by
the contractor/tenderer.
14. For sound and light system, prior approval of District Administration shall be obtained by the
tenderer.
15. The bidder shall have the LATEST authorization/registration of Electrical, Safety from VIDYUT
Suraksha Nideshalaya and Departmentof Intelligence (Police)
16. The Tenderer will have to make all necessary changes as may be required by the
University/District Authorities in interest of work and security requirements.
17. The Vice Chancellor, University of Lucknow will have absolute right to reject the tender without
assigning reason.
18. DD of Rs. 1000/- being cost of tender form has to be attached with Tender form in the mode of
Bank Draft in favour of “Finance officer, University of Lucknow” payable at Lucknow, which is
not refundable in any case.
19. University shall not be responsible for any kind of loss and insurance coverage.
20. Tender form will be deposited in the office of the Registrar, University of Lucknow. The last date
of tender form submission is 26.12-2016 upto 2.00 PM. The tender will be opened on 26.12.2016
at 3.00 PM.in the office of Pro-Vice Chancellor.
21. The bidder firm shall possess experience of similar work and attach proof in support.
22. ESI, PAN,VAT, TIN number and Labour Department registration /Certificate is essential
Attested copies of same are to be attached.
23. Authorised signatory has to keep all the original documents at the time of opening of tender.
24. All disputes are subject to Lucknow Jurisdiction.
