WELCOME TO THE UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL CLUB (UIC)

Here at the UIC, we are ready to start a new semester! Our programme is again filled with a broad selection of events. Seminars focusing on codes of conduct or how to acculturate, and also HR-related like how to navigate the Danish Tax System, or get Work & residence permit and visa. Some informal meetings, and by December an almost authentic Danish Christmas Eve party.

These events are open for all connected to Aarhus University and the International Community – that means staff, spouses, and families. Note the varying times, locations and the events requiring sign up. It’s an excellent idea to sign up for our Monday emails and the Thursday UIC Newsletter to keep up with changes. In addition, the newsletter comes packed with what’s on in the greater Aarhus area. We also organize PlayGroup which takes place at Dokk1 every other Friday, and can match you with a language partner if needed.

The UIC aims to encourage integration into the university, city and international communities. The UIC has been assisting newcomers settle in since 1998, and welcomes people from all nations, educational backgrounds, and languages.

We encourage a positive atmosphere and will do our best to help you enjoy your stay here.
