Part D Home Listening
Listen to three humorous conversations and enjoy.
1. Patient: Hey, what sort of a dentist are you? That wasn’t the tooth wanted you to pull out.
Dentist: Take it easy. I’m coming to it.
2. Nurse: Doctor, why do you always ask you patients what they had for dinner?
Doctor: It’s a most important question, nurse, for according to their menus I make out my bills.
3. Dentist: I’m sorry, madam, but I shall have to charge you 80 dollars for pulling out your boy’s tooth.
Woman: Eighty dollars! Why, I understood to say that you charged only 20 dollars for such work!
Dentist: Yes, but your boy yelled so terribly that he scared three other patients out of the office.
