United for Colombia joined efforts with the U.S Embassy in Colombia, Hughes International Clinic, National Police of Colombia and CIREC Foundation to provide leg prosthesis to 30 landmine survivors in Colombia. Last May, patients from all over the country came the Bogota, Colombia´s capital city, to receive their medical treatment. During a week, a group of thirteen specialists, between doctors, physiotherapists and prosthetic technicians (Colombian and Americans), took care of the patients adjusting the prosthesis according to their needs.
