Purpose for the Proverbs
• 1:2 - To know wisdom and instruction
• 1:2 - To discern the words of understanding
• 1:3 - To receive instruction
• 1:4 – To give prudence to the simple
• 1:5 – That a wise man might increase in learning
• 1:6 – To understand the words of the wise

• Definition:• Wisdom – having experience, knowledge,
and good judgment
• Knowledge – facts, information, and skills acquired by a person through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject
• Understanding – perceive the intended meaning of; infer something from information received
