Ref: 1) Notification No: 84/RECT-2/2019-20, Dated: 18.07.2019. 2) First Provisional Select List Published vide No: 84/RECT-2/2019-20, Dated: 20.03.2020. 3) Second Provisional Select List Published vide No: 84/RECT-2/2019-20, Dated: 22.06.2020. 4) Letter No:SIBBANDI-1177/WRl2020, dated:31.07.2020 of the JGP, Western Range, Mangaluru. In pursuance to the Notification dated: 18.07.2019 cited at (Ref-1) recruitment process to fill up vacancies of Sub-Inspector of Police (Civil) (Men & Women) including In-Service was initiated. After the recruitment process this Office published First Provisional Select List for the above post on 20.03.2020. After publishing the First Provisional Select List, candidates selected were subjected for Medical Examination as prescribed in the Cadre and Recruitment Rules called the Karnataka State Police including Ministerial Services (Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2009. After conducting the medical examination, based on the report of the Medical Board, Second Provisional Select List was published on 22.06.2020(Ref-3). After publishing the Second Provisional Select List, Inspector General of Police, Western Range, Mangaluru was directed to verify the character and antecedents and also reservations claimed by the candidates selected in the Provisional Select List. After due verification, reports are sent to this office by the Inspector General of Police, Western Range, Mangal uru authorities vide letter cited at (Ref-4). Whereas, in the verification report cited at reference-4. It is found that the criminal case against two candidates i.e., Sri. Anil Shreemant Nayak and Sri. Chidanda M Halladmal, are registered and the said cases are still pending. This being the position, two candidates are not eligible to be considered for selection and appointment as per the conditions stipulated in rule 10 of the general recruitment rules and as per the order dated:01.12.2014 of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India passed in Civil Appeal No:10613 of2014. Hence, the candidature and selection of two candidates are rejected and cancelled vide this office order of even number dated:04.08.2020. .2..

Thus as per C&R Rules, the Final Select List of candidates pertaining to Western Range,
