The Question

Should students be allowed to chew gum in school?

People who are in favour of allowing chewing gum say that:

1 -Some research claims that the actionOf chewing gum could make people smarter. Chewing gum improves performance during thinking and memory task.

2 -No problem with teeth damage because there are a lot of sugar free gums available today.

3 -Chewing gum helps students deal with stress.

On the other hand

People who oppose the idea of letting students chew gum in school argue that:

1 -Paths will be stained with chewing gum marks. Some students’ property is also damaged – parents complain.

2 -Some teachers also feel that the sight of students chewing gum may give the school a casual( informal) appearance.

3 -Some students are rude and letting them chew gum will increase their rudeness.

Introduction

Some people believe that schools should allow student to chew gum. I agree/disagree with them. I have several reasons for my opinion.
