    colors and apply effects.

    You can view the different kinds of tools byholding the triangle at the Text tool button

    and the hidden menu will be displayed.

    Selecting one of the options will activate

    the selected tool.

    LESSON 2: CREATING THE TYPE

    AND EDITING YOUR TEXT

    There are three ways to create a type.

    THE POINT TYPE

    To create a point type, click the tool and then

    just point it to the image.

    THE PARAGRAPH TYPE

    The type is a box type that uses boundaries to

    control the flow of the characters in the text.

    TYPE ON PATH This tool flows along the edge of an open or

    closed path

    Moving, Modifying and Deleting

    Text

    You can move the text you have typedfrom one location to another by

    choosing the type layer from the Layer

    palette. Then click the Move tool, clickand drag the text to its new location.

    To modify the text, choose the layer

    from the Layers palette, click the Texticon from the Tools palette and click

    the text. You can press the backspace

    and delete, then enter the new text.

    If you want to change the font, style,color effects and size of text, click

    the text icon, highlight the text and

    do the modification from the

    Options bar.

    LESSON 3: WARPING TEXT

    You can create different kinds of textthrough Warp text. This will modify the text

    to different kinds of styles to create fun in

    your text. To do this:

    1. Go to Menu bar

    2. Click Layer, then Type, then click Warp

    In the Warp Text dialog box, you willsee a style with a drop-down menu

    that lets you choose what to do with

    the text. Open the drop-down menuand select the style that you want to

    apply in your text.
