Packaging Rules Confirmed

To achieve this qualification, the candidate must demonstrate competency in: • 13 units of competency:

- 7 core units - 6 elective units, consisting of:

• at least 4 units from the electives listed below, at least 2 units must be from those units listed under Groups A, B or C

• up to 2 units from the electives listed below, any endorsed Training Package or accredited course – these units must be relevant to the work outcome

At least four units from Group C electives must be selected for award of the Certificate III in Individual Support (Home and Community).

Pathways

After completing this qualification students may go on to complete IV level qualification in relevant industry up to diploma level qualifications to meet occupational outcomes relevant to their industry.

Student Feedback

Students may be asked to participate in a number of surveys as part of continuous improvement policy. The result from the survey gives an indication of how well the course and the trainer is performing and if the facilities and resources meet your expectations. Additionally students may be asked to complete an AQTF Quality Indicators Learner survey and the National Student Outcomes managed by the National Centre for Vocational Education and Research (NCVER).

Student Records

Trainers and Assessors provide student progress information to the data entry operator and verify that accurate and up-to-date information is recorded. Student are provided a progress report from the trainer and issued a Certificate at the conclusion of the course.
