Stages of life • Our bodies change constantly.• We get bigger and we change shape.• We pass through a number of stages:• The five main stages are: Infancy, childhood,adolescence, adulthood and old age.
Infancy Babies
• We need help from our parents.• We begin to walk• We begin to talk.
Toddlers (one or two years old)
• We learn how to chew.• We start to move around.• We start to communicate
During infancy our bodies change very quickly.
Childhood• Childhood occurs from 3 to 11 years old.• We learn to read and write.• We acquire more autonomy. • Our bodies change very quickly.
Adolescence• Adolescence occurs from 12 years onwards.• Our bodies change shape.• Our bodies grow very quickly.• Teenagers express the kind of music they like.• Teenagers express the kind of clothes they like.• Teenagers express the kind of activities they like.
• We reach adulthood when we are 20 years old.• Our bodies change more slowly.• Adults finish studying and start to work. They can be:

Old age starts when we are 70 years old.Our hair is white.We lose strength in our muscle and bones.We have a lot of wisdom ( we know a lot of things).

Health and illness The secret to a healthy lifestyle is to have healthy habits.
A healthy dietEat a variety of food every day.Eat fruit and vegetables.
Exercise• Do physical exercise to keep Your body fit, strong and flexible.• Exercise helps our internal organs, like our heart, to work well.
Sports
HygieneWash your hands before meals..
Brush your teeth after meals.
Take a shower regularly.
RestSleep for 9 or 10 hours a day to recover from daily activities.
PostureSit upright on your chair.
Carry your schoolbag on your bagusing both shoulders.
