What is birth rate?
The birth rate is the number of people born in a place every year.
What is death rate?
The death rate is the number of people who die in a place every year.
What is natural growth rate?
The natural growth rate is the difference between the birth and death rate. It can be positive or negative.
Define:Emigrants
People who leave a place to live somewhere else.
People who leave a country to live in another country.
Define:Immigrants
People who come to a country to live from another country.
How do you calculate Real growth rate?

A place is considered a rural place when it has less than 10.000 inhabitants.

What is population density?
Population density shows us, by comparison, if a territory is highly populated or sparsely (escasamente) populated.
The population density tells us if a terrytory has a lot of inhabitants or a few.
How do we calculate it?
By dividing the number of inhabitants of the territory by the surface area of the territory.

The spanish population is very unequally distributed.
The distribution of Spanish population is irregular. The coasts are more highly populated than the interior except for Madrid.

The population density of Spain is 90 inhabitants per square Kilometre.
