Mark Twain is the pen-name of Samuel Langhorne Clemens (1835-1910), a well-known American writer and humorist. Hewrote a lot of humorous stories and novels,which are quite popular with the Chinesereaders.

Because the customer looked very poor and the assistant thought he could not afford expensive clothes.
