When pitchers find out what sort of character they are dealing with and pitching to, it can really help work out which ideas would suit the customer and put that in their favour.

You have to get involved in peoples personal information, which some people really dislike.

Unit 1: P1, M1, D1What research techniques (e.g. using the library, the internet, watching videos, reading info, recces, practises, plans etc) did you use when completing the assignments in year 10 for Unit 5 (Crime Drama and Music Videos) and Unit 7 (Festival Bags) ?I mostly used the internet to watch videos and do my research because it’s easily accessible and has a lot of information on there that was of use to me. I also used t e internet to gather pictures and use Photoshop for my festival bag.h

What research methods (e.g. primary, secondary, qualitative, quantitative) did you use when completing the assignments in year 10 for Unit 5 (Crime Drama and Music Videos) and Unit 7 (Festival Bags) ?I used primary sources a lot, and used all the own original footage for my crime scene drama but I used secondary sources like photos from google images for my festival bag.

If you didn’t use some of the methods in year 10, would use you them if you were to do your projects again? How and why would you do this?I would probably try and use Qualitative research more to try and make my crime scene drama more effective to the audience and see what people wanted in a festival bag etc.

How did you collate, store and use the information when researching for your year 10 units? (e.g. did you book mark key websites? Keep a list of websites used? Print off or save any info for your folders?)I bookmarked a couple of websites like the Isle Of Wight official website to remember all the ‘line up’ and see what the atmosphere has been like in previous years in photos of festivals before.
