on theme, character, symbolism, and etc. ONE question should be TEXT-TO-TEXT. This should

attempt to make a connection to a different text. ONE questions should be TEXT-TO-YOU. Make a

connection between yourself and the text. ONE questions should be TEXT-TO-WORLD. How does

this text fit in to the bigger picture?

If you think you can’t resist, you may want to hide your phone from yourself or put it on my desk. It only takes picking it up once to lose up to sixteen points!

If you are being talkative and disruptive, you will be asked to stop, you will lose ALL your points for the day, and if you continue, you will be asked to leave class. Don’t do that to yourself! Listen!
