Our visionThe Club will be designing and competing with an all new Electric Vehicle (EV) for the 2019 competition.

By moving to an EV platform, the team is modernizing and aligning with industry in the future of electric mobility. Electric Vehicle technology is also more applicable for future vehicles including autonomous vehicles.

Cost of developmentWith the club moving to an electric platform, manufacturing costs have increased significantly. Our first electric drivetrain will be about four times the cost of the internal combustion powered vehicle. This is due to the elevated cost of major components such as the batteries, motor and control electronics.

The cost for the project is budgeted to be over $100,000. This will require the generous support of partners who share our passion and would like to join us to embrace the future.

All support is welcome and we would love your help to complete this challenging project.

*The team has a detailed budget that can be provided to interested parties.

Benefits of partnering with usYour company will be able to increase their brand exposure and marketing awareness by being seen as supporting the future of Australian Engineering. This exposure will occur through our social media networks, web presence, competition apparel, vehicle livery and other promotional avenues.

Other benefits include heightened brand visibility amongst UniSA students, faculty and the wider community. As a club, we have great exposure through interactive stands at many local educational and community events which include: Adelaide 500, Science Alive, JOBEX, TS Expo and several others.

You will also be connected with motivated young professionals. Supporting the team gives you the opportunity to work closely with driven students and soon-to-be graduates. This means that your company is actively involved in the development of future professionals.
