KS-VISION® Monitoring performance of your installation

The KS-VISION® control and monitoring system comes standard with theNO-BREAK KS®7e. Thanks to its user-friendly interface, it provides all functionalities essential to the optimal management of your backup power system.

The KS-VISION® user friendly control eliminates the need for a Master Control Panel and eliminates single points of failure. Each unit is automatically tested and KS-VISION® informs the operator of the status of your system. It communicatesbased on customer preference, able to communicate any event to a BMS or to EURO-DIESEL's technical support team.

THE MAKE UP OF A NO-BREAK KS® SYSTEM

SIMPLE AND SMART DESIGN

Accurotor Kinetic Energy StorageAt the heart of the NO-BREAK KS® is its kinetic energy accumulator; a clever but simple system to store and retrieve kinetic energy. It consists of two rotating parts: the outer rotor runs mechanically-free around the inner rotor.

The inner rotor, driven by the main shaft, rotates at 1500 rpm (50 Hz) or 1800 rpm (60 Hz). It contains two sets of windings; a three-phase AC winding and a DC winding.

The outer rotor (Accurotor) rotates at a relative 3000 rpm, controlled by the brushless exciter, creating the Kinetic Energy Storage used in providing the no-break (or UPS) rating of the system.

General DescriptionIn the event of a utility power disruption, the kinetic energy accumulated in the outer rotor (or Accurotor) provides mechanical drive to the alternator supplying uninterrupted power to your critical loads during the engine start time. Within seconds, the engine becomes the source of clean continuous power to your mission critical facility. All this happens, without the slightest interruption or aberration to the load.
