COMMUNITYCONSULTATION MEETING Unilever Precinct Planning Study and East Harbour Applications
The City is holding a community consultation meeting to help confirm City, landowner and community priorities for future development within the Unilever Precinct, including First Gulf’s proposed East Harbour development.
The Unilever Precinct is part of the South of Eastern employment area. First Gulf has submitted applications for a large office employment and supporting retail development in the Precinct, adjacent to the proposed new East Harbour SmartTrack Station. First Gulf is aiming to open the first phase of the development by 2023. City Planning is conducting a study for the Precinct which will result in a comprehensive plan for area redevelopment, coordinated with infrastructure investments. The planning and design of the SmartTrack station is being integrated with the Precinct plan.
Join City Planning staff to hear a brief presentation on planning objectives for the Unilever Precinct, as well as a presentation by First Gulf on their development proposal. Information will also be available on the SmartTrack station. Following these presentations, we want to hear your priorities for the Unilever Precinct. Community priorities will help guide the planning study and development application review.
For those unable to attend in person, or those who wish to continue the conversation, please visit the study webpage at www.toronto.ca/unileverprecinct. You can also contact us as noted below.
