Our uniform was designed by an Elwood College parent in collaboration with students, teachers and parents. It includes a summer and winter uniform, as well as a sports uniform. The school backpack is also a compulsory item.

The uniform sets the tone of the school within the college and in the community and should be worn with pride. All students in Years 7-12 are expected to wear the uniform for all classes, college activities, and to and from school.

In reaching secondary school, students can take on increasing responsibility to ensure their uniform is clean, pressed and ready for each day. They should be responsible for cleaning their own shoes and ensuring their backpacks are packed and ready for each day’s events. However, we also ask for the support and supervision of parents to ensure the uniform guidelines are adhered to.

Shoes

Black leather lace up school shoes (Girls may also wear Leather T-bar shoes which must be done up correctly) For PE, Sport and if playing sport during recess and lunch, students should change into suitable sport shoes. Please note: Canvas shoes or boots of any type are not acceptable. Sports shoes may not be worn in lieu of school shoes.

Summer & Winter Uniform Dates: Summer Uniform is to be worn Terms 1 & 4 Winter Uniform is to be worn Terms 2 & 3 NB: Term 2: Weeks 1 & 2 are changeover weeks and can be summer or winter. Term 3: Last 2 weeks are changeover weeks and can be winter or summer.
