UNIFORM AND SUPPLIER DETAILS The correct wearing of our school uniform is important and encourages a sense of pride in appearance and respect for oneself and helps students to identify with one another and the school. It also contributes towards a sense of belonging to an inclusive, non-discriminatory and equal opportunity community. Parents / Carers are asked to support the school and ensure that students leave home in the morning in full school uniform that is clean and in good condition.

2. Uniform items must be individually named. The cost of replacing un-named items can be a very expensive exercise.

White Shirt with embroidered School Logo or Regulation white square-tailed school shirt

Plain white, round necked, T-shirt which may only be worn under white School shirt – no logo

Grey or white socks. Socks must not have any logo on them.

Black rigid leather, lace-up, regulation, traditional school shoes – (no boots, runners, skate or canvas shoes)

Black leather T-bar or traditional school leather lace-up shoes.

Please note that NO OTHER jackets or jumpers are to be worn over the school uniform.

Students are encouraged to wear the Belmont High School Hat / Cap for sun protection when in the school yard. NO other hats /caps are to be worn at school. Hats / Caps are not permitted to be worn inside school buildings. Beanies are not permitted to be worn at school.

School Bags – The Belmont High School bag is available from the Uniform Stores. Students may use other suitable bags for school use.

Please note that NO OTHER jackets or jumpers are to be worn over the school uniform. Sport rugby tops are not permitted to be worn as a school jumper.

Students are permitted to wear a navy, black, bottle green or black-watch tartan scarf in class. However, in classes where the scarf may be considered inappropriate or dangerous, students will be asked to remove them for safety reasons. Gloves may be worn for extra warmth when in the yard. Beanies are not permitted to be worn at school.

5. Physical Education/Sport (Compulsory)

Sport Leggings are NOT part of the school uniform. Students may bring Leggings to school and they can wear them during Physical Education Classes Only. They are not to be worn before or after the Physical Education class.

SPORTS UNIFORM Only on the days that a student is timetabled for Physical Education Classes or Interschool Sport, S/he is permitted to wear their sports uniform to and from school. THE FOLLOWING SCHOOL UNIFORM ITEMS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED FROM THE START OF 2020:
