UNI-FIT SHAFT ADAPTER ASSEMBLY

1. Clean the shaft bore with a wire brush or cotton swab and acetone. 2. We recommend adding .250” on all tip trimming instructions provided from the shaft maker. This additional tip trimming

alleviates the loss in shafting depth when using UNI-FIT and will give you the same feel and playability as the original OEM sleeve.

3. After tip trimming, prepare the tip section of the shaft .875” from the distal end. Choose the desired installation location

and draw a line above the prepared section of the shaft. In most cases this will be the Neutral position. Please note that as the shaft rotates into various positions any orientation of “grip”, “spine”, “logo” or “Pure®” will no longer be as originally aligned.

4. Dry fit the shaft adapter with the applicable hosel sleeve and club head. Measure and cut to the desired playing length. To achieve a 45.00” finished playing length with UNI-FIT components use a raw cut of 43.625”. (This is measured from the wnd of the UNI-FIT sleeve to the end of the shaft). When switching between hosel adapters finished lengths may vary up to 3/8” from club to club.

5. Next clean the components and disperse your shafting epoxy. It is helpful to insert into a hosel adapter within a club

head in order to get the necessary leverage to properly seat and align the shaft.

6. Install the shaft matching the alignment mark to the desired install location. Once you believe the shaft to be fully inserted it is recommended that you tap the threaded end with a rubber mallet to ensure that the shaft has bottomed out.

7. Prior to use it is recommended that you use a drop of lubricant in the threaded end of the shaft adapter after blowing it out with an air tool. This will ensure that any loose debris has been removed and will eliminate the potential to damage the threads.

UNI-FIT HOSEL ADAPTER INSTALLATION AND FINAL ASSEMBLY

1. Each OEM screw is held in place by a rubber or nylon retaining washer. Some screws will require more pressure to remove than others, but they are all removable. To make this process easier you need UNI-FIT Part #2336 OEM Screw Removal Tool.

2. Removal is done by placing pressure on the top end of the screw with the toll while using the mating wrench to back

the screw out through the retaining ring. Once the screw is removed, set the screw and retaining ring aside and label accordingly for future use if needed.

3. (Optional Step) If you wish to have the UNI-FIT colored screw stay in the mating club head on a semi-permanent basis, proceed as follows using Part #2336. You may skip this step if desired.

First select the proper O-Ring (Small #2306, #2307, #2310 or Large All others).

Drop the O-Ring into the head and use the tool to center with the through hole.

Select the properly colored screw, slip through the steel washer and push through the O-Ring until the screw stays into the head.

4. Next, place the applicable UNI-FIT hosel adapter into position. The (ONE DOT) or (TWO DOT) location should be

aligned along the back centerline of the hosel. Most club heads have a reference mark in this location.

5. Place the shaft into the desired playing position. Please review the various settings on the following page to see how loft / lie is affected.

6. Once the UNI-FIT components are fully engaged to one another, place the butt end of the grip against the ground and assemble using the UNI-FIT Torque Wrench Part #2324 until your hear a “CLICK”. This ensures that the components have been properly fastened and are suitable for use. If you do not hear an audible click please cease from using the club as something is wrong and usage could cause serious bodily injury or death.

Always be certain that all components are clean and free of debris. Using any other tool other than the UNI-FIT torque wrench may cause damage including stripping, seizing or degradation to the fastening system. Use of any other tool other than the UNI-FIT torque limiting wrench to loosen or tighten components will void the warranty, may cause permanent damage bodily injury or death.
