PURPOSE
The purpose of this project is finding out the relationship between Unemployment rate and Tertiary Education Attainment.
To do that, we've collected data from 20 european countries and then, we have calculated the marginal means, variances, the covariance and the coefficient of correlation.
Unemployment represents the number of people in the work force who want to work but do not have a job. It is generally stated as a percentage and calculated by dividing the number of people who are unemployed by the total work force.
Tertiary education is the educational level following the completion of a school providing a secondary education.
Unemployment rate
This data is from http://www.statista.com/statistics/268830/unemployment-rate-in-eu-countries/
Tertiary Education Attainment
This data is from https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_tertiary_education_attainment
COVARIANCE
Covariance
-4,265
Covariance is a measure of how much two random
variables vary together. It’s similar to variance, but where variance tells you
how a single variable varies, co variance tells you how
two variables vary together.
CORRELATION COEFFICIENT
correlation coefficient-0,114034906293602
The result is unreliable because the number is very close to zero, so there is a very weak relation.

The real percentage of Tertiary Education Attainment in Switzerland is 40%.
