Jack and JillJack is a young, energetic boy. One day his mom

asked him to fetch a pal of water from the well. He climbed the tall hill to get to the well. When he arrived he found Jill with a fishing pole. Jack asked Jill what she was doing. Jill said she was on her way to the pond to go fishing. Jack said he was getting a pal of water for his mom. Just then as Jack put his pal into the well, he dropped it and it fell into the deep well. “Oh, no!” Cried Jack. “My mom is going to kill me!”

Jill said, “Don’t worry we can get your pal back. Why don’t we use my fishing pole and hook to fish out the pal?”

“Great idea, Jill!” Jack and Jill worked together to get Jack’s pal back. Jack was able to return home with a full pal of water and Jill was able to go fishing.
