Gateway Courtyard

The driving design decsion was the central courtyard created by the reflected “L” scemes. This courtyard acts as a transition place from the lower campus to the higher street.

Thermal Mass

Northern Glazing

The intent of this project was to design a space that was thermally sound. This was designed with a slanted glazed northern face that keeps the sun to a minimum during the summer and maximizing it during the winter. The southern facade is a thermal mass that during the day would absorbsunlight to heat the space at night.
