MARKZ-E-UMEED

Under the social services programme we engaged our students in activities with two centres working for mentally and physically challenged children. One was C.F.A the centre for Autism and the other Markaz-e-Umeed We have already uploaded our presentation on the visit to the “Centre for Autism” Here today are the activities for the special children of the Markz-e-umeed We devised some activities to inculcate the love and affection amongst our youth.

Love for the Special Children

When the student are studying in the main stream they are never in contact with the children with varying disorders. These special children need the love and understanding of us all but most importantly, the children of their own age, of inculcate the feeling of brother hood, and understanding, we arranged two competition within our branch.

Essay Writing Competition: and Art Competition

The topic for both was, Disability is not an inability students gave an excellent response in writing onetime essays and illustrations depicting the innocence of their minds, and generosity of the spirit.

Magic show, for our branchIncluding the special children

On paper review day , the 26th of May a class party was arranged along with a magic show this was the perfect time to show the felling of sharing and caring for the mentally challenged children. A special invitation was given to a group of children from the Markz-e-Umeed they shared the party eatables with the student, an at the end of the day enjoyed the magic show in the school ground. The smiles on their face, and cheers on their lips, showed the happiness that they felt.

During the visit a gift of computer was given to Markz-e-Umeed

It was setup in a class so the mentally Challenged children can benefit from

the I.T Skills.
