Purpose

To develop a clear and broadly consistent path for Enterprise Architecture career progression within the DoD to include positions or roles, qualifications, critical development experiences, and career success factors.

Membership

The DoD EACPWG shall consist of DoD government representatives and/or senior technical engineers of DoD Departments and Agencies. The Working Group members may be mission owners or senior policy and technology officials to include senior information managers officially representing their government organization.

Objectives

Review current official government policy, direction, and guidance on Architecture Career Paths

Draft and coordinate policy, guidance, direction, and criteria for the identification, development, and implementation of the DoD Architecture Career Path.

Provide a forum for sharing best standard practices and support the development of enterprise architectures and solutions architectures

Review architecture competencies for architects that support the United States Government (USG) Common Approach as defined by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB)
