Ultraseal® is Relyco’s revolutionary pressure seal solution offering businesses and marketers a cost-effective and environmentally efficient way to create, process and deliver mailed pieces without an envelope. Ultraseal forms can also be custom printed in today’s office laser printer, complete with postage, allowing for control of costs, personalized designs and either bulk or one-off delivery of mailed pieces when necessary.

By eliminating the printed envelope from the process, Relyco’s Ultraseal® has become the more efficient and “green” alternative when doing office mailings. Folding, stuffing, gluing and heating of mailings and envelopes are things of the past. Ultraseal® from Relyco is the future.

Once you print the Ultraseal® mailing piece in your

color or black and white laser printer, the forms can

be fed into any one of the Formax™ pressure seal

machines available from Relyco. These machines take

care of all the folding and sealing, utilizing pressure

that activates the special paper coating. The machine

completely seals the edges of the piece to create the

ready-for-mail document.

Shoreline Business Solutions provides secure and

non-secure plastic card products to the financial

service industry. In 2005, Shoreline contacted Relyco

for assistance in upgrading their existing PIN-fed mailer

to a laser-compatible form. This form is used for both

PIN notification as well as audit and post mailer notices.

Relyco determined that their revolutionary new

Ultraseal® forms and equipment would be the ideal

solution. Through a custom-designed Ultraseal® form,

Shoreline adapted a single, secure mailing piece

for several different uses. For equipment, Shoreline

purchased two Formax folder sealers. To date, one of

those machines has processed over 9 million Ultraseal®

forms. Recently, at the request of a major credit card

company, Shoreline asked if we could suggest a more

secure solution for their PIN notifications. Working

together, we determined that the most cost-effective

and secure option was to add two inline folder sealers to

their equipment fleet.

Today, Shoreline uses the original equipment for the

audit and post mailer notices, and processes all PIN

notifications using the inline solution. The inline

machine receives the PIN notice directly from the

printer, so that the operator only sees the sealed,

finished Ultraseal® mailer.

This collaborative approach to understanding the needs

of the customer, and working together to develop a

process to meet the demanding requirements of the

financial industry, is an example of the close partnership

Relyco extends to its clients.

Tax time is only once a year, but processing W-2s or 1099s can be a time-consuming endeavor. Using pressure seal to process tax forms is a great way to get an instant return on your pressure seal investment. Relyco has pressure seal layouts for all business tax forms. Our annual tax form catalog, which details the current year’s product selection, is sent out in August.

AUTOSEAL® EQUIPMENT FOR ULTRASEAL®

For over 10 years Relyco has carried the Formax™ Autoseal® line of pressure seal equipment. The Autoseal® line of machines for Relyco’s Ultraseal® forms are the most durable and dependable machines on the market today. They range in handling capacity to match any business need, from a few hundred forms per month to processing house capacity.

Folding the form aligns patterns of a specially formulated cohesive, which has been pre-applied to the document during manufacturing.

Once folded, the document travels through a series of sealing rollers inside the Folder/Sealer.

These rollers apply a great amount of pressure to the form, which activates the cohesive and, in turn, creates a secure “fiber tear” seal.
